If you are new to our page or new to our area, we want you to know who we are!  Most importantly, we want you to know we want to earn your business and become your trusted insurance advisor.

Eric brings a diverse professional background and experience to The Grady Agency.  He received a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Saint Louis University and then a teaching degree from Illinois College.  He also obtained a Master's degree in Educational Administration from William Woods University. He was a teacher and coach at Brown County High School for 13 years before leaving to go to work in the insurance industry.  He was also the Camp Director at The Crossing Camp for 2 years before partnering with his brother, Lance and colleague Jacob Geisler to form The Grady Agency.  Eric is married to Kelly and they have 2 children, Carlee and Camryn.  

Eric also serves as vice president of Action Brown County, is on the Economic Development Committee of ABC, and is an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Illinois Fighting Illini fan.

Eric is licensed in Illinois and Missouri.

Lance brings 12 years of insurance experience with him to The Grady Agency.  He received his license in 2010 and has been involved the insurance business since then.  Prior to The Grady Agency, Lance worked as a production assistant with his dad at a captive insurance agency!

Aside from insurance, Lance founded L. Grady Realty in 2010 and has grown it from a start up business to a real estate company that consistently closes over 5 million dollars in real estate transactions per year, manages multiple properties for owner/landlords and is Brown County’s leading residential real estate brokerage.  Along with his wife Renee they formed 92916 LLC, a real estate investment company that holds commercial, land and residential properties and also has recently started in new construction development.

Aside from his professional involvement, he is active in the not-for-profit world as well serving as Board Chair of The Community Foundation Serving West Central Illinois and Northeast Missouri, Vice Chairman of the Brown Schuyler CEO program, board member of the Mt. Sterling Community Center, board member of Rolling Greens Golf Course and a committee member of Action Brown County Economic Development committee.  

Lance and Renee have two awesome little boys, Kanon & Kohen.  Lance loves hanging out with his family, golfing and taking jeep rides.  Lance is licensed in Illinois and Missouri.

Jacob is a Western Illinois University Alumni where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business with a minor in Animal Science. Out of college he went to work for The Maschoffs in swine production and then on to Prairieland FS where he worked in the precision agriculture field. Before transitioning to The Grady Agency, he spent 4 years as an insurance and financial services representative where he was very successful in building a book of business. 

Jacob and his wife Jessie are raising their 3 children; Makenna, Carson and Henley, on their 4th generation family farm where they raise corn, soybeans and hogs.  They have recently kicked off the Three Pumpkateers Wagon teaching their kids the value of hard work! 

Jacob also serves as a board member on the Brown County United Way, is on the Brown County Public library funding committee and is the Vice President of the Brown County Fire Protection District. In his free time, he enjoys farming, boating and spending time with family and friends.
